indian night and sweet baking

It was time to meet up with M again for dinner. She had the choice of where to go this time since I chose it the last time round. It was my my first time in going to an Indian for dinner and I must say it's a good experience. Enjoy!

Chicken Passanda and Mango Murgh

Mushroom Rice, Nan Bread and Steam Rice

When the food arrived the waiter advised us that the Mango Murgh was really spicy, which wasn't mentioned in their menu.. I tasted a bit of it just to see and it wasn't even in the slightest. =)

We went home afterwards and I felt as though the meal wasn't 'complete'. Don't get me wrong I was full from the meal but there was something missing - a pudding! I had palnned to bake yesterday and I had the ingredients at home waiting for me already.
Chocolate Cupcakes with Roses/M&M's

Red Roses

Rainbow M&M's
Thoroughly enjoyed making these last night. I can safely say that they are tasty and not too sweet. Do not be fooled by the flavours, it is just right.

a day away...

I spent 6 hours in Edinburgh and here are a few photos of the day. The most important thing about this trip was to meet and catch up with my dearest friend. =)

I knew I was going to be a bit bored on the train. Hence some black wool and a crochet hook....

8 legs to make a wee animal
This is what I had for lunch when I arrived... Chicken burger with Fries...
Some cupcakes to round of our meal from Bibi's Bakery.

It was wind and rain when I left Aberdeen and Scotlands capital city welcomed me with blue and sunny sky with warmth. =)

Those cupcakes has inspired me to make some of my own very soon. Watch out for it in this space.
