a weekend away...

To end my week of holidays I headed down south to see two friends. =) very relaxing but the driving around the city stressed me out. I think it's cos I don't know the roads that well and not used to going onto a motorway to get to one side of the city to the other. Anyways that is my rant... here are some photos..

baking afternoon

Well after a nice evening in last night, why not have a nice day in too after running a few errands... I had to wait for an engineer to come along to fix the heating so I decided to use up some scrap to bake something yummy! 

 Just a few simple ingredients can turn into this

I can't wait to try one once it's done.. 

There we are some very tasty looking chocolate biscuits there... It amazes me how little and simple of ingredients can turn into something that looks so indulgent.

Now it's time to get ready to go out for a meal with M.

This is my forth day of my holidays... I decided to have a very long lie in this morning... 12.30pm. =)

Went to do a bit of shopping and tried on a few things too.. not too sure if it's ok to take photos in fitting rooms but never mind I did it and haven't got into trouble yet...

After a shop around I took my friend home and headed to the supermarket to get some mushrooms and brussel sprouts for dinner tonight... Mushroom Risotto with Brussel Sprouts on the side.

Thoroughly enjoyed my day out and a quiet evening in doing a bit of tidying up in the room and end up with 2 large bags full of clothes and toys...
